My last review was not good and have not been here since. We were in town looking at a boat and decided to go. Service was excellent. Ambiance was nice as it usually is. Food was decent. The MD Crab Soup is always good. I got Prime Rib fir $23. It was slightly bland but a little S&P fixed it up. Wife got steamed shrimp. A few were overcooked but they were good. Hush Puppies and honey butter were good. I'll give them a other shot next time I come through the NE.

Sat at the bar for a casual pre-Valentine's dinner. We like the bar for their attentive service, and the atmosphere. A ton of great appetizers to pick from. Favorites include bacon wrapped scallops and shrimp, crab and avocado toast, Valentine's Day salad. Lobster bisque was also very tasty, though we prefer the crab bisque. Godiva cheesecake was velvety and quite special. Never a bad meal here in 20+ years.

I've been coming here for years and the last 3 visits where we did takeout were not up to the standard I knew so decided to come here this time for sitdown late lunch praying that this place will be redeemed in my review if those place. We were on the way north so decided to come here for lunch with 3 others, serving at 2:30pm it was quiet and we were quickly seated at a table. The place is casual and family friendly. The decor is simple and minimal. The waitress quickly introduced herself and took our orders. We just got water because we wanted room for food. Crab cake dinner, crab salad, ribs and cream cake & lobster roll is what we ordered. After a short wait, the food came piping hot. All of us enjoyed the food and cleaned our plate. My bro who was with me agreed that dining in is the way to go. Recommendations: crab cake sandwich or platter, Brussel sprouts, hush puppies with honey butter and more... World come back again! Again so many to choose from and

A group of us came here for a birthday dinner, and while I had high hopes, I left feeling a bit disappointed. Overall Ratings: Restaurant: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Food: 3/5 Parking: Street Parking Restaurant: The restaurant is fairly spacious, offering bar seating, indoor and outdoor options. The décor is well-done, creating a pleasant atmosphere, and overall, the place seemed clean and well-maintained. Service: Our waitress was attentive, friendly, and accommodating. She answered all of our questions and made sure our requests were met. Food: We sampled a few different dishes: -Hush Puppies: Very good! Easily some of the best I've had. -Char-Grilled Oysters: Unfortunately, these were dry and lacked flavor. -Crab Imperial: It was decent but nothing memorable. -Jumbo Sea Scallops: These were quite good. -Deluxe Fried Sampler Platter: This was hit or miss. The fried oysters, in particular, were disappointing--bitter, with a thick batter and soggy texture. Other items were just okay. -The Net Buster: This dish was very good. -Blue Crabs: These were just okay. Some of the crab meat was dry, though the flavor was decent. Conclusion: For the price, I expected better quality food. Some dishes were quite good, but others fell short. I'd be open to coming back to try more menu items, but my overall experience didn't quite meet my initial expectations.

What a great find! Traveled almost 2 hours for steamed crabs before the season ends and ended up at Woodys. It's an understatement to say we enjoyed the jumbos! The staff are super friendly and extremely accommodating! We had 4 crabs left and wanted to take them home (of course) but worried about the long drive. They not only volunteered to pack them in ice, but they held them while we walked Main Street and shopped! Thank you Rachel! Can't wait to go back and try other dishes.

The Best of The Best in northern MD for all things seafood. The steaks and other entrees are fabulous also. We love their crab bisque and MD crab soup. Service is quick and friendly because it's a family member who owns Woody's is usually on site. And--- people come from long distances to dine here. That says a lot.

Had a taste for seafood. Woody's is a pretty good place to go for a little local flare. My server, Nick, was attentive and I enjoyed my dinner. They had a private party while I was dining, but it didn't seem to disrupt the dining area, quality of food or service. I've been to some places, where the food suffered for regular customers while the restaurant had a big event I would recommend Woody's if you're interested the area.
